Racism

So I'm currently watching the movie "Mississippi Burning". It just started, so I don't know the ending, but it deals primarily with racism in the South. It is really quite disturbing, and I feel that this ties in with citizen media a lot. The movie takes place in 1964, and I feel that there is still too much racism today. Citizens should make more of an attempt to shut down racism. It is still around and simply does not need to be. It is extremely counterproductive and fosters hate. It simply does not belong anywhere in the world. If more people took action against it, it could probably be stopped.

peace,
Martin
